About Me
Here’s a little bit about me to help you know who I am and why I decided to start blogging.
I am a wife (of double-digit years) and a mom. I have a phenomenal husband who has supported me continuously and 2 wonderful boys who are leading me through the uncharted waters of teenagedom. I am a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist and a Certified Massage Doula. I have owned my massage therapy business since 2004 and choose to specialize in women’s health. After all, what will the world come to if we women don’t support and help one another?
My friends and family keep me from becoming completely consumed with the worlds of massage, bodywork, pregnancy and birth. I am a self-confirmed massage-junkie, birth-junkie, and news-junkie. I believe that we are our best advocates for better health and need to know the risks and benefits of any treatment we consider. That is the only way to give true informed consent.
So, I decided, after much hesitation and thought, to start this blog. I envision a blog that will serve as my outlet for all the massage therapy, pregnancy, and birth information I find good enough to share. I hope that you will find it worth reading and share with other women when you find a nugget that will help them toward better health and wellness.
Thank you so much for joining me on this great adventure!

Hey there girlfriend!
I just read your posts and have to say that you are well on your way to being a wonderful blogger (like I know anything – but it sounded good to me!) I think that this will be a good resource for anyone that wants good information…you are very informed and up to date on all your information and you are always increasing that knowledge…I am suprised that your brain hasn’t exploded! Anyway, I have to say I am totally proud of your success and the fact you have built your business to what it is now! As Tony the Tiger would say “It’s GREAT!”
Keep at it and I look forward to reading more!

I am a member of Cafemom. I just wanted to let the family know that you are in my prayers, and I am so sorry for your loss. May your memories with them bring you some comfort.
Thank you, it means a great deal.
Hello! I have gone ahead and bookmarked http://massagedoulahealthnews.com/about/ on Facebook so my friends can see it too. I simply used About Me Massagedoula's Blog as the entry in my bookmark, as I figured if it’s good enough for you to title your blog post that, then you probably would like to see it bookmarked the same way.
Hello there, just became alert to your blog through Google, and found that it’s truly informative. I am gonna watch out for brussels. I will appreciate if you continue this in future. Lots of people will be benefited from your writing. Cheers!
